For the Non Vegetarians out there.. Here is a favorite of the Lynda Czekay, LMT, household! Give it a try, it sounds super easy and yummy!
Easy Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatora
1 Medium Green Pepper
1 Medium Red Pepper
1 Cup sliced mushrooms
1 onion sliced
4 Chicken Breasts
1 8oz bottle Italian dressing
16 oz crushed tomatoes
1/2 t Ground Tyme
Ground black pepper and salt to taste
Layer sliced vegetables in bottom of crock pot. Place chicken breasts on top, squeeze the entire bottle of Italian dressing over the chicken breasts. Pour the entire can of crushed tomatoes over the chicken. Sprinkle tyme, pepper and salt. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Serve over your choice of pre-cooked rice.
